Lost Restrited Instruction Permit
If a student has lost the Restricted Instructional Permit given to them in class, replacement paperwork can be obtained by calling or coming into the Jordan Driving School office during business hours. The Restricted Instructional Permit must be taken to the DMV in order to receive the eye exam needed for the student to participate in the North Carolina Driver Education behind the wheel program. Only a DMV representative can sign off on this paperwork. Other requirements needed for this eye exam are the student’s original birth certificate or a certified copy ("mother’s copy" will not suffice), the student’s social security card (not just the number), a parent to accompany the student, and corrective lenses if needed.
